We brought in the Scorpion 4025-10 to provide the perfect electric motor for 60-size conversions of 3D aircraft. Other motors in this class have a lower KV and requre extremely large props with 18″ diameters and upwards that may not be usable with aircraft that have shorter landing gear optimized for nitro engines. The 4025-10 takes care of this problem with its higher KV allowing the use of props of similar diameter to those originally used with the nitro engines on these size airframes. Suggested setup includes a 100 amp or greater ESC and 6S lipo packs around 4000 mah. Suggested applications include:

Scorpion Competition Series Brushless Motors are built from the best materials available, and are designed to provide both quality and performance at an affordable price. The stators are epoxy coated to prevent shorts, and are wound with wire that is rated at 180 degrees C (356 F). The magnets used in Scorpion Motors are N-50EH style, which are rated for operation at 200 degrees C (392 F), making a motor that is virtually impossible to burn up in normal use.
All Scorpion 40mm motors come with pre-tinned power leads that are ready for yout favorite style connector, and include a complete hardware package that contains a cross style backplate mount with 4 screws, and threaded shaft prop adapter.
